15-year old Charlotteville Rascal Otto Allison had a great start to the 2024 season acheiving a new personal best and juvenile club record of 37.382s for 500m (standing start) at the National Youth Omnium at the Lee Valley Velodrome on 10th March, on his way to a 1000m time of 1:10.90.

Only a week later, he managed to build on that achievement, setting a new club juvenile record of 12.271s for 200m (Flying start) at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales. Both of these times surplant Paul Wheeler’s previous records, set in 1990.

On 30th July he then bettered his own 500m record, managing 36.262s at the Youth and Junior National Track Championships.
