Mens Elite Podium - race won by Alex Paton (Pedal Heaven RT)

Many thanks to everyone that came out to support the Guildford Town Centre Races 2015. To the riders for competing hard, to all the helpers for running things on the night, to all our sponsors for giving their financial support to ensure that the races can take place and in particular to race organiser Jon Lewis for all the hard work that he put in to make the event such a success.  The results for the event can be found (once finalised) on the British Cycling website.

Today/Tomorrow the Charlotteville CC team of Virginia, Paul, Jeremy, and Nick on the bike along with James in the car are making the journey from London to Paris non--stop (except for the boat trip) in 24 hours (or less?). Good luck to the whole team and follow their updates on our club Facebook page or on our Twitter feed (@charlotteville)

To celebrate the start of our new membership of the Guildfordians Clubhouse we will be holding a social event involving static bike racing, BBQ food and drinks plus ofcourse Le Tour on the big screen on Saturday 18th July from 2pm onwards.
The days stage looks pretty interesting too: "The figures concerning the Côte de la Croix Neuve say it all: 3 kilometres at over 10%, only the strongest will have their word to say."

Please note to all current and potential future members of Charlotteville Cycling Club that as part of our transition of the club website to a new platform we are moving our membership database to the facility provided by British Cycling. Please note that you do not need to be join British Cycling as part of this situation (but you can certainly do so). For those members who are already members of British Cycling then we already have your details within the BC club membership database and for those who were BC members but did not have the club listed against your membership you will be receiving notification from British Cycling (based on details we have given them) in order to update your account - to which we can then begin to maintain your Charlotteville membership.

If you have any questions re: this change then please contact the Club General Secretary or Membership Secretary.
