The Charlotteville Cycling Club was founded in 1903 in the Charlotteville area of Guildford, Surrey. The Club has been involved in all aspects of cycling through the years, both locally and nationally, and were the promoters of the first cycle races at Brooklands in 1933. The Club now promotes several Open racing events through the season, the most important being the Guildford Town Centre Road Races (part of the annual Guildford Festival). We also promote a series of Club time trials which are held in the Pirbright area (click here for more information about Club events). We organise rides for beginners and experienced rides every Sunday. These depart from the Spectrum Leisure Centre at around 09:00hrs (click here for more information). Club members meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday's of the month at the Remnants Cricket Club in Woking. These social evenings are open to all, so if you're interested in joining or finding our more about the Club, come along for a drink and a chat.
