This Sunday's club run is one 'with a difference' as it is a memorial ride to remember Charlotteville former President, Life Member and Friend Roly Masset. The ride will leave at the usual time (9am) from the Guildfordians Clubhouse in Stoke Park and head down towards the south coast through the lanes of Surrey and West Sussex. As Roly would have expected it there will be no Garmin route or other modern technology and instead Batch will be directing us via maps, compasses and the direction of the sun!

The plan is to head to the home of our former President Derek (& Mary) who has moved down to the south coast for lunch which will be hosted at their house. Derek will be riding up to meet us for a coffee stop in Midhurst so if you are not able to make the whole ride then perhaps you can ride down with us that far before returning to Guildford. The rest of us will proceed to the south coast and then on the return leg people can ride the whole way but there is also the option to catch a train from the halfway point, Havant or Rowlands Castle.

The full route should be approx. 90 miles (and ofcourse various options to reduce that by using the train etc.)
